The Freiburg Puppet Theater is coming!

An enchanting puppet show featuring imaginative and beautiful characters, titled "Kasper and the Pirate of the Seven Seas" On Thursday, August 13, 2026, the Freiburg Puppet Theater will perform "Kasper and the Pirate of the Seven Seas" at 3:00 p.m. for children ages 4 and up. There is great excitement in the harbor of San Sansibar. A massive ship sails in and hoists the pirate flag. The Pirate of the Seven Seas has made a huge haul at sea and is now returning to the kingdom with chests full of gold. But oh no: as a reward for his services, the buccaneer wants the king’s daughter as his wife. Luckily, Kasper and his clever dog Bello team up to prevent the princess’s forced marriage to the pirate. Kasper’s new pirate adventure featuring the daring pirate and the beautiful princess is a play to watch, feel, and experience, promising lots of fun and great entertainment. Young audiences can eagerly follow along to see if the two friends succeed in fending off the cunning pirate and if they can help the impoverished king in his search for the legendary treasure in the Enchanted Bay. Not only the imaginative puppets and costumes, but also the colorful stage sets ensure a cheerful atmosphere amidst all the excitement.
