For years, Back to Blues has been synonymous with authentic, down-to-earth blues. Under the direction of Reinhard Stehle, the band has earned an outstanding reputation and is today arguably one of the best blues bands in southwestern Germany. The repertoire is wide-ranging and stylistically diverse: it spans from classic Chicago and Delta blues pieces to swinging shuffle grooves, modern blues interpretations, and original compositions. The band impresses not only with its stylistic confidence but also with its musical depth, joy of playing, and palpable passion for the blues. Virtuoso solos, a powerful female voice, a driving, groovy foundation, and finely tuned ensemble playing make every concert an intense live experience.
