The paintings and collages by Dutch artist Liesbeth Doornbosch focus on interiors, buildings, and landscapes. The paintings and collages by Dutch artist and author **Liesbeth Doornbosch** focus on buildings, interiors, and furniture, revealing an interplay between painting and architecture from which she creates new abstract spatial constructions. Her compositions, some of which are large-scale, present fragmented perspectives that give rise to complex spaces through equally rigorous and expressive layering of color fields and lines. Incorporated architectural photographs always evoke narrative moments: for the painter, the experience of spaces invariably conjures up stories. Thus, her depictions of space are not fixed orders, but organically animated environments that evoke a particular setting. Doornbosch is concerned with the character of a place and the atmosphere of a space in the tension between the inner and outer worlds. The artist lives and works in Arnhem.  The installations by the artist duo **Ariane Faller & Mateusz Budasz**, created specifically for each location, deliberately intervene in existing spatial structures and transform them into new experiential situations. Bold constructions made of wooden slats and planks, braced across the space like scaffolding and secured with screw clamps, merge with vividly colored painted objects on cardboard boxes and sculptural forms made of coarsely knitted wool, glass, and photographs. These expansive ensembles are conceived as temporary interventions into the seemingly familiar and orderly, deliberately embodying moments of the provisional and experimental. Central to this is the subversive exploration of the boundaries between painting, drawing, sculpture, and object. Through these radical installations, the spaces seem to come off their hinges; walk-in assemblages emerge through which we move in wonder, thereby sharpening our perception of the unique structure of the space. The two artists live and work in Furtwangen.
