Family Hike – Scavenger Hunt Through Europe | Tour as part of the 2026 Hiking Season Kickoff

On this exciting family hike, children and parents can explore the Europa Rundwanderweg trail near Dobel in a fun way through a scavenger hunt. At the end, a cozy picnic awaits at Neusatzer Pfütz as a reward for all the little adventurers. This approximately three-hour, 3-kilometer family hike is especially geared toward children and young explorers. The starting point is the Horntannhalde forest parking lot in Dobel. From here, the group sets off together on sections of the Europa Rundwanderweg—but not just hiking, rather solving puzzles, searching, and playing. Along the way, the children solve various tasks and clues during a scavenger hunt. In the process, they learn interesting facts about Europe, the nature of the Black Forest, and the area around Dobel. The focus is on movement, discovery, and participation, ensuring the route remains entertaining even for younger hikers. Upon reaching the destination, everyone arrives together at Neusatzer Pfütz. There, a cozy picnic awaits, where families can refuel and celebrate successfully completing the scavenger hunt.
