For Steven Scheschareg, the music of the displaced composers holds a special significance, as his family was also expelled from Austria during the Nazi era and emigrated to the USA. However, Steven has found his way back. Many of these "kings of operetta" such as Leopoldi, Benatzky, Spielmann, Kalman, Stolz, Korngold, Kreisler, Kalman, Jurmann, and many more found refuge in the USA. They created timeless melodies: melancholic songs and humorous tunes. This magnificent operetta concert has been successfully performed in New York, Florida, Washington, as well as in Bad Ischl and Bavaria, and now it is coming to Albeck! At the piano: Laszlo Gryüker.
