Bread baking at the stone oven on Galgenberg Arbesbach

Something is happening at Galgenberg when up to 42 loaves of bread are baked in the historic stone oven. Be there! The stone oven is located directly on the Great Bear Trail and the Little Bear Trail between BÄRENWALD Arbesbach and the market town of Arbesbach.

Every Saturday from around 2 PM until open end

Schedule:
From around 1:15 PM, you can join in the bread preparation.
2:00 PM: Start of the event, embers in the oven
2:30 PM: Embers are removed, the oven floor is wiped, and up to 42 loaves and rolls are placed in the oven.
Enjoy a cozy gathering while the bread bakes: Drinks and spreadable bread can be purchased, tables and benches are set up, and tents provide sun and wind protection.
After about 1.5 hours, the bread is ready to be baked. You can buy it and take it home!
