Leadership: Hike into the Past - Earthwork Ratgöbluckn

On Thursday, May 7, 2026, the Heimat- und Museumsverein Perg invites you to the public tour "Hiking into the Past - Earth Cell Ratgöbluckn." The meeting point is at 4:00 PM at the Karbrunnen in the main square of Perg. Depending on your perspective, the Earth Cell Ratgöbluckn is either a medieval escape cave or a mystical power spot. With narrow passages, chambers, and twists, it shows that safety was once not a given. At over 100 meters in length, it is the largest walkable earth cell in the Mühlviertel. Note: The "Hiking into the Past" is an offering from the Heimat- und Museumsverein Perg for visiting the Earth Cell Ratgöbluckn, Mühlsteinbruch Scherer, and Mühlsteinmuseum Steinbrecherhaus for groups of 6 or more at individually arranged times.
