Free exhibition visit: ENERGY TRANSITION - RACE AGAINST TIME. As part of the Steyr Climate Festival.

For the 8th time, Klimafokus Steyr, together with several project partners, is organizing the Steyr Climate Festival. On this day, the focus will be on climate protection, and positive climate stories from the region will be presented. The Climate Festival will take place in the square in front of the Museum of Working World and in the immediate vicinity.

On the occasion of the Climate Festival and as part of the Meeting Point Museum, the exhibition "ENERGY TRANSITION - RACE AGAINST TIME" can be visited free of charge on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The exhibition invites visitors to experience the world of energy on an interactive journey – featuring items from the Technical Museum, hands-on stations that provide insights into professional fields driving the energy transition, as well as best-practice examples from research and industry. This makes the energy transition tangible and offers visitors guidance and knowledge to engage actively.

The team at the Museum of Working World invites you to visit the Steyr Climate Festival, with its diverse informative and culinary offerings, before or after your visit to the exhibition!
