On the alpine hike with a nature guide at Feuerkogel, you will walk along the alpine pastures and mountain inns, learning about the fascinating flora, the herbs of nature, the geological structure of the Höllengebirge, and much more.

The guided tour is free; you can find the prices for a ride on the Feuerkogel cable car at www.feuerkogel.info/en/offers-tickets. The alpine hike with the nature expedition lasts about 2 1/2 hours. Those who wish can also hike to one of the viewing platforms on the Feuerkogel plateau afterward and enjoy the beautiful mountain and lake landscape of the Salzkammergut. No registration is required to participate.

Date: Every Wednesday from July 1 to September 9, 2026.
Meeting point and start: in almost any weather at 10:00 AM at the mountain station of the Feuerkogel cable car (except in case of storms, thunderstorms, or heavy rain).

TIP: FREE RIDE FOR CHILDREN
From July 8 to September 2, 2026, the cable car offers a FREE RIDE FOR CHILDREN, where children born in 2009 or later can ride the cable car for free every Wednesday when accompanied by an adult (excluding children's and school groups).
