Exhibition Opening: Heimatmuseum Neu

You are cordially invited to the opening of the exhibition "Heimatmuseum Neu" at the Schrift- und Heimatmuseum Bartlhaus in Pettenbach on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 2:00 PM. More than 30 years after its founding, it was time to redesign the exhibition space of the local museum in a modern and contemporary way. The goal of the new presentation was to tell the history of the place, which has been inhabited since the Stone Age. The first documented mention of Pettenbach occurred in 777 in the founding document of the Kremsmünster Monastery. The exhibition presents historical events and themes that shaped the area through people and objects. The opening of the exhibition offers the opportunity to experience the new presentation of the local museum and to dive into the history of the place. The exhibition has something to offer for visitors of all ages. Coffee and cake will be provided for the guests. The opening will take place outdoors in good weather.
