Guided Tour with Historical Lesson: Experience School History Up Close!

The Upper Austria School Museum is located in one of the oldest preserved former school buildings in Upper Austria. The museum welcomes its guests with the inscription "15 DOMUS DISCIPLINAE 77," and you are immediately immersed in the history of education, which dates back up to five centuries. During a guided tour, visitors can explore the museum and learn interesting facts about the history of the school system from dedicated volunteers. A highlight is always the classroom, which, with its original furnishings, transports guests directly into the past. During the action week for International Museum Day, visitors can enjoy a special bonus on holidays and weekends as part of the public tours: a "Historical School Lesson with the Schoolmaster" at no extra charge.
