About the Author

Katharina J. Ferner is a poet, performer, and cultural mediator. Additionally, she is a member of the editorial team of the literary magazine mosaik and a member of the Ö.D.A. (Austrian Dialect Authors and Archives). The "Fernpost" can be found as a regular column in &radieschen. Since January 2021, poetry has been published weekly under the title "Ferner dichtet" in the Salzburger Krone. She participated in the Bachmann Prize reading competition in 2021. She writes poetry reviews for the series lyristix on Instagram. Various scholarships and stays abroad have accompanied her in recent years and shaped her literary work, including at the Literary Colloquium Berlin. Her publications with Limbus Verlag to date include "Der Anbeginn," 2020, and "salamanderin," 2025.

About the Book

Tomorrow again we: Paulina is an aspiring journalist, sometimes more, sometimes less ambitious, and has just landed in the horoscope section. Isabella – Bella – is an It-girl of the Vienna scene and always on her way to the next event. Their story begins in Café Venezia. Under red umbrellas, they lose themselves in conversations and hopelessly into each other. The Venezia remains a fixed point for both of them. Here, they always find their way back to each other: when Paulina moves in with Bella and everything is not as simple as it seems, when Bella's mother shows up at the door and has to stay with them, when Bella moves to Berlin and the freedom they both need takes up space between them. The dynamics between the women remain a gentle ebb and flow, without the need to establish rules or set boundaries. Yet Paulina's and Bella's dynamics are still new, fleeting; small cracks turn into breaks, and the question haunts Paulina's mind: If everything falls apart, can I bring us to safety before the shards?
