PRAMTALER MUSEUM WEEK: Open House Day

On Saturday, May 9, 2026, the Sallaberger House in Zell an der Pram invites you to an open house. The museum is open from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The Sallaberger House is a place full of memories of the lives of the grandparents' generation, a life connected with much manual labor, thriftiness, and simplicity, which is hard to imagine today. Without electricity, without running water in the house, without sanitary facilities, and without central heating, yet so cozy and homely that one would want to live here right away. Several crafts and a comprehensive exhibition of cameras and bees will be showcased. Guided tours will be offered as needed, illustrating what life was like around 100 years ago. For a cozy break, coffee, cake, and drinks will be available.

Seven museums along the Pramtal Museum Road are offering a joint admission discount from May 1 to May 10, 2026: With a ticket purchased at the first museum, you can visit one program point at another participating museum during this week. Some museums also only request voluntary donations.
