The Stahel Shooting Club Gosau is a vibrant tradition
The Stahel Shooting Club Gosau organizes the Upper Austria Championship in 14m crossbow shooting. This keeps an old regional tradition alive. It is an important event for Gosau and the Salzkammergut region. The special reputation of the Salzkammergut is not only related to its beautiful landscapes, lakes, and mountains, but also significantly to the people who live here. Customs and traditions are a normal part of their annual cycle. This is not a given; it requires committed citizens and associations that advocate for it.
The championship begins on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. On Thursday, September 17, 2026, it runs from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and on Friday, September 18, 2026, the championship is from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The award ceremony begins at 5:00 PM with musical accompaniment.
