Guided hike in the Hohe Tauern National Park: Discovering the Anlauftal

The hike starts from the parking lot and leads into the narrow and impressive Anlauftal. The ranger will make the unique flora and fauna of the Hohe Tauern National Park accessible along the way and share interesting stories about the region. The tour follows the picturesque path along the Anlaufbach stream. Enjoy the fresh mountain air and unspoiled nature! The destination is the idyllic Radeckalm, where a short break will be taken to enjoy the surrounding mountain scenery. It is recommended to bring your own provisions, as dining and catering at the hut is not possible. After the break, the return journey will commence.

Meeting point: 9:30 AM, Anlauftal parking lot
(Drive past the Schleusenbahnhof on the access road. There is a parking lot on the right before the bridge.)
Take the bus to the stop "Böckstein Abz. Anlauftal," then walk to the meeting point.
Duration: approx. 6 hours (of which approx. 4 hours are pure walking time)
Distance: approx. 12 kilometers
Elevation gain: 500 meters in ascent and descent
Difficulty: Easy summer excursion
Equipment: Sports or light trekking shoes, rain and sun protection, appropriate clothing and a change of clothes, backpack with drinks and snacks
