William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is one of the most famous works of world literature. In its own instrumental adaptations – a chamber music version of Tchaikovsky's symphonic poem Romeo and Juliet, a suite from Prokofiev's ballet music of the same name, and a suite from Bernstein's musical West Side Story – CrossNova juxtaposes three masterpieces of music history, bringing the timelessly relevant story to the stage.
