14th Sigmaringen Enten Race

Every two years, the service club “Round Table 162 Sigmaringen” hosts the popular Sigmaringen Rubber Duck Race on the Danube. Not only are our yellow “racing ducks” back in top form—we’re also transforming the Danube riverbank into a unique family festival with a wide range of activities. Fun and games for the whole family. On Sunday, July 12, 2026, at 2 p.m., up to 5,000 rubber ducks will once again race down the Danube for a good cause. Launched from high above the Danube Bridge (Laizer Bridge), they’ll race to the finish line just before the second Danube Bridge (Burgwiesen)—pure excitement! For just three euros, anyone can purchase a ticket for their own race duck and win one of many attractive prizes. Tickets for the ducks will again be sold at the city festival on July 27 & 28, 2026, as well as at the weekly market before the race. With the proceeds from the duck race, Round Table Sigmaringen is supporting two projects this year: “ElefAnt,” a district project that supports parents with parenting issues, and the service project “Establishment of a Forest, Nature, and Agriculture Kindergarten,” which supports Haus Nazareth in establishing a nature kindergarten.
