After almost 20 years of actively shaping the Austrian education system, I have certainly discovered the hidden highlights within it. One of them is definitely the substitute lesson. Just going into the classroom unprepared, with no one knowing what will happen, and seeing what is possible. And yet, sometimes these are the best lessons. Lessons that one remembers for a lifetime, or at least until the next break.

After 11 solo programs and over 1500 performances since 1997, Stefan Haider is stepping onto the stage for the first time with a "Best of." There is plenty of material, the topic of education is more relevant than ever, and the motivation, both as a religious educator and as a cabaret artist, remains unbroken.

And perhaps the greatest advantage of a substitute lesson: None of it is subject to a test!
