Two virtuosos merge their creative forces: the gypsy jazz guitarist Diknu Schneeberger and the stylistic jack-of-all-trades on the accordion, Christian Bakanic. They create distinct sound worlds that emerge from the interplay of swinging gypsy jazz, fiery Balkan groove, lyrical melodies, and chamber music composition, brought to life through improvisational spontaneity. The title of their program “Avanti, avanti!” represents the determined collaboration between the two, supported by Martin Heinzle on double bass and Julian Wohlmuth on rhythm guitar.
