The closing weekend of this year's festival starts with the peace greeting "Da pacem domine" by Arvo Pärt as a mood-setting introduction to Mozart's A Major Violin Concerto, featuring Vahid Khadem-Missagh as the soloist. Following in the footsteps of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's "Italian Journey," Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy embarked on an educational trip. Inspired by the diverse impressions, he conceived his famous 4th Symphony - the "Italian," which will resonate as a brilliant conclusion to the festival.
