We bring the world of the late 18th century back to life and invite you to a literary-musical journey through space and time, where the boundaries between past and present blur.

On historic paths, we discover the fascinating world of Baron von Braun, who created an artistic labyrinth of dimly lit vaults with rushing waterfalls, mysterious inscriptions, and torchlight in the English landscape park of the castle. Between light and shadow, sound and word, an immersive experience unfolds for all the senses. In the Temple of Night, opera merges with the philosophy of the Enlightenment to create a unique total work of art in Europe. Its magic had already captivated Marie Therese, the second wife of the emperor, who was known for her gambling addiction and musical talents.

A high-caliber ensemble of musicians and singers presents works specifically composed for this gem in the castle park, created in the spirit of Freemasonry. We listen to original texts from that time and walk in the footsteps of Mozart's Magic Flute. The unique installation of sound collages, light, and fog allows the grotto to shine in its original theatrical splendor for one evening.
