All the ingredients were already in place: cleverly chopped samples from the soul and library corner, crisp drums, and with JOURNALIST 103, an MC who knows how to handle such tracks. Along with cuts from DJ Soko, the three embarked on their first European tour in 2011, and yes, their very first show was at KAPU. This year marks the 15th anniversary of "Gas Mask," and since Detroit against everybody still holds true, as a bonus, our highly esteemed rapper GUILTY SIMPSON will join the tour. He will not only perform tracks from his album "Dice Game," produced by Apollo Brown, but will surely also highlight his works from the J Dilla to Madlib era. It's still cold in the D!
