Hollywood Vampires - Exclusive Austria Appearance on September 5, 2026, Open Air at VAZ St. Pölten
In the summer of 2026, one of the most prominent rock supergroups, the Hollywood Vampires, will be going on tour again. On September 5, 2026, the band featuring Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper, Joe Perry (Aerosmith), and Tommy Henriksen (Crossbone Skully, guitarist for Alice Cooper) will also perform an exclusive open-air concert in Austria at VAZ St. Pölten.
The Hollywood Vampires last thrilled audiences in 2023 with energetic live shows, as demonstrated by the concert recording "Live in Rio," released by earMUSIC/Edel. Since "Rise" in 2019, original compositions have also found a place in their varied live set, which still features some of the greatest rock classics such as "Heroes" (David Bowie), "School's Out" (Alice Cooper), "Walk This Way" (Aerosmith), and "Baba O' Riley" (The Who).
"In the beginning, we wanted to honor our hard-drinking friends who passed away in the seventies: Jimi Hendrix, John Bonham, Jim Morrison, and all the others," Alice Cooper revealed in an interview. "That's why we formed a pub band in 2015." Hollywood Vampires was the name of a celebrity drinking club in Los Angeles that Cooper co-founded in the 1970s.
In 2015, the first work of the rock supergroup, "Hollywood Vampires," was released, featuring contributions from Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, Slash, Brian Johnson, and Zak Starkey. Since then, the aforementioned albums "Rise" (2019) and "Live in Rio" (2023) have been released.
