"Da Blechhauf’n: Brass music as you wish it to be: dynamic, resounding, compelling." (Süddeutsche Zeitung) The seven musicians – "four from Burgenland, two from Styria, and one vegan" – three trumpets, three trombones, a helicon, and occasionally an accordion – form an ensemble that shies away from nothing. Originally, the musicians indulged their passion for folk music in a new guise with "Da Blechhauf’n." However, the concept has since evolved into an unprecedented success story with varying, thematically diverse, and highly different performance techniques. In addition to virtuosic instrumental delicacies, "Da Blechhauf’n" also presents works with singing and slapstick elements on stage, transforming a concert evening into a virtuoso musical cabaret almost as a matter of course.
