From Shakespeare, Goethe, and Nestroy to significant works of more recent times: the celebrated chamber actor Joseph Lorenz expands his program "Famous Monologues" with a new selection of great texts, bringing further highlights of theatrical literature to the Semmering stage. Once again, iconic figures from theater literature step before the audience and reveal their innermost thoughts and feelings in a soliloquy. The monologue, as the pinnacle of theater, creates an immediate closeness between the stage and the audience, making the spectators silent confidants. With new voices, additional facets, and great emotional intensity, Lorenz broadens the spectrum of this special form. An evening/afternoon full of highlights from theater history and world literature.
