This year, everything revolves around the sweetest fruit of the Wachau again on three weekends in July! From Thursday, July 9th to Sunday, July 26th (every Thursday to Sunday), the old town of Krems will be dedicated to the apricot, and all of Krems will celebrate with it.
Along the 700-meter-long pedestrian zone, you can expect culinary highlights, sweet temptations, and a wide range of apricot-themed offerings:
- Folk dancing, live music, and walking acts
- Charity apricot dumpling cooking with celebrities
- Apricot delicacies (cakes, dumplings, pancakes, punch, and much more)
- Apricot-themed offers in numerous shops and at the artisan market
- 20-meter-long apricot cake (every Saturday)
- Children's program
