The Other Cuban Band
The Sarahbanda combines Cuban dance rhythms with the sound of an instrument that does not exist in Cuban groups – the horn. Originating from the project "Mozart y Mambo," Sarah Willis, horn player of the Berlin Philharmonic, and some of the best Cuban musicians bring together new arrangements of well-known songs like "Chan Chan" and "Sandunguera," original compositions, and surprising combinations of Cuban and classical music. The Sarahbanda thus creates a completely new, irresistible sound that is unmatched.
