Toscanapark 6, 4810 Gmunden
On August 2, 2026, the stage of the Salzkammergut Festival Weeks will open for the first time in Toscanapark Gmunden exclusively for outstanding female artists. Under the title HERstage, the audience can expect an open-air experience with three consecutive concerts, each unfolding its own sound world and together creating an unforgettable evening full of energy, creativity, and musical diversity.
The evening will kick off with Anna Buchegger. With her unique voice that combines tradition, dialect, and modern pop, she confronts alpine homeland imagery with self-irony, a feminist stance, and avant-garde sound language. Buchegger creates an artistic persona that straddles the line between clown, couture, and traditional attire, critically questioning the concept of home while simultaneously opening space for diverse identities and emotions. Her live presence is intense, captivating, and unforgettable—an invitation to experience both music and attitude.
Following her, lovehead will take the stage. This trio from Burgenland is among the most exciting new indie-pop acts in Austria. With laid-back drums, charmingly grungy guitar riffs, and vividly lyrical songs about love, everyday life, and small absurdities, lovehead creates an atmospheric sound world that is both playful and touching. Their songs emerge from the blend of the three perspectives of Anna, Mara, and Elena, resulting in an immediate, authentic energy that delights both live and on record.
The finale will be provided by Ankathie Koi, a Viennese pop institution and the grande dame of electro-glam. With her powerful, multifaceted voice, eccentric glamour, and a performance full of mischief, self-irony, and 80s synth sounds, she transforms the stage into a luminous Gesamtkunstwerk. Songs like "Baby Boy," "Amour Fou," and "Tanz dich rein" turn into exuberant dance orgies, celebrating pop in capital letters and utilizing the stage as a place of creative freedom and surprising moments. Ankathie Koi transcends genre boundaries, creates intense energy, and ensures an epic finale to the evening.
On this night, Toscanapark will transform into an extraordinary open-air venue: Amidst ancient tree giants, with a view of the sparkling Traunsee and the surrounding mountains, a space will emerge where sound, light, and nature exist in harmonious dialogue. Each performance will unleash its own power and invite the audience to an intense perception of rhythm, expression, and atmosphere.
