Thus, the new program "Alla scoperta di Morricone" is created. It is not just a concert, but a journey of words, impressions, and solo performances that will take the audience through the decades that have made Italian and international cinema and music great. The incredible journey began with melodies that have remained in the collective memory of generations, with the atmospheric power of MISSION, THE LEGEND OF THE PIANIST ON THE OCEAN, ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST, CINEMA PARADISO, THE HATEFUL 8, ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERICA, FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE, MALENA, which have characterized the activities of the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra in recent seasons, and will continue with other works such as THE UNTOUCHABLES, LA CALIFFA, MAKING LOVE, INVESTIGATIONS AGAINST A CITIZEN ABOVE SUSPICION, providing an important space for the great titles that have been written for artists like Dulce Pontes, Amii Stewart, Joan Baez, and Mina in a new symphonic version. 500 soundtracks, 70 million records sold worldwide, six nominations and two Oscars won, three Grammys, four Golden Globes, and a Golden Lion make Ennio Morricone the greatest film music composer of all time. Hence the idea of the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra, a flagship of Italy, to honor the Maestro. The ensemble engages with Morricone's music after already collaborating with important national and international artists: Mario Biondi, Max Gazzè, Franco Battiato, Giovanni Allevi, Renato Zero, Francesco Renga, Pooh, Baustelle, PFM, Andrea Bocelli, Sting, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, Nile Rodgers, Sam Smith, Luis Bacalov. With more than six hundred concerts in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, France, Austria, the United Kingdom, and Belgium, the orchestra presents great versatility, confidently moving through all genres, with a repertoire ranging from the most famous opera arias to world-renowned film scores, from "Frozen" to "Harry Potter." In this tribute, soloists from significant Italian theaters and symphonic institutions will perform, such as the cello of Maestro Ferdinando Vietti and the trumpet of Maestro Stefano Benedetti. A special guest will be soprano Anna Delfino, a favorite of European opera audiences, who will revive the emotions of Deborah's theme from "Once Upon a Time in America," and violinist Attila Simon from Cirque du Soleil, who will perform the solo from "Love Affair."
