The trained swimming and sauna master began producing videos during the Corona pandemic, where he took on various roles. His cult characters, Grandpa Walter and Grandma Moidl, lovingly and pointedly poke fun at South Tyrolean culture and typical village clichés, transforming them into funny comedy sketches. On stage, Buono also draws on humorous episodes from his own life and delivers spot-on punchlines that guarantee plenty of laughs.
