Presented by FOUR PAWS International, the film "Eating The Future" is an award-winning documentary that uncovers the horrors of factory farming and the failures of our food system while showcasing alternative methods that offer a better outlook for the future.
The documentary "Eating the Future" follows a curious narrator who goes undercover not only to expose the harsh realities of factory farming but also to seek hope. On her journey through Europe, she meets people from agriculture, medicine, research, as well as animal and environmental activists, and individuals who have worked in slaughterhouses. Step by step, she approaches the question: "What does it take to improve the lives of all within this system – and what could a future agriculture look like that solves problems and offers sustainable solutions?"
The film impressively highlights our complex, crisis-driven food system – and shows how we can collectively find new paths for a sustainable future. Instead of polarizing, "Eating the Future" invites reflection and participation.
The film screening is just the beginning: In the subsequent panel, different perspectives will converge and encourage further thought.

Eva Rosenberg (Country Director of FOUR PAWS Austria) will then invite everyone to the discussion. Together, we will debate how agriculture, animal welfare, and environmental protection can work together.
