On the first Advent weekend, the concerts at Hermannswörth present an extraordinary concert experience: The vocal soloists of the Company of Music, alongside the recorder consort ELEMENT OF PRIME and a Baroque consort using original instruments, under the overall direction of Johannes Hiemetsberger, will showcase vocal and instrumental treasures from the late Renaissance and early Baroque periods. They will tell stories about Mary and the Christmas miracle through works by W. Byrd, G. Gabrielli, M. Praetorius, and John Dowland.
