Talent Summer 2026 – NM1 In the Picture

Monday:
Animation Studio (Christoph Keller, Kunstmeile Krems)
You will get to know the medium of animation and turn your own stories into moving images. Using methods of digital storytelling and stop-motion techniques on iPads, we will dive into the exciting world of animation and film.

Tuesday:
Focus on Photography (Kunstmeile Krems)
You will discover the world of photography: Using a camera obscura and the historical technique of cyanotype, you will explore the origins of photography. Additionally, you will learn simple tips to creatively use your smartphone for impressive photos.

Wednesday:
Treasure Hunt (Leni Gassner, Matilda’s Bookstore)
You will embark on an exciting journey through the bookstore and solve puzzles in English to free the bookstore's mascot, Matilda the dragon. Afterwards, you will create your own bookmark, which you can of course take home with you.

Thursday:
Bookbinding (Martina Riedlmayer)
Small books for drawing and writing stories are always useful. When they are colorfully wrapped and have fun shapes, it’s especially enjoyable. Let’s explore different techniques together!
