Talent Summer 2026 – NM3 Comic, Monsters & Colors

Monday:
Be Your Own Superhero – Create Your Own Comic (Leni Gassner)
Be the hero of your own story and bring an adventure to paper – through drawing and writing, everyone will create their own comic. The course will be conducted in English (as far as possible).

Tuesday:
Monster Sewing Workshop (Martina Riedlmayer)
Who is afraid of monsters? Using old clothing and fabric scraps, we will create our spooky creatures with needle and thread. These cuddle monsters are guaranteed not to be scary! Please bring: old favorite clothing items that we can give monstrous life to (T-shirt, pants, socks…).

Wednesday:
Dots, Dots, Dots – The Art of Yayoi Kusama (Livia Greimel, BA)
In this course, you will get to know the Japanese-American artist Yayoi Kusama, a woman who painted everything with dots… and did not apologize for it. We will then recreate some of her most famous works. Please bring: colored or felt-tip pens, a (shoe) box, scissors, glue.

Thursday:
Play with Color (Kunstmeile Krems)
You will learn about the medium of color in an experimental and creative way: from color selection to mixing to painting techniques. With a focus on the very first images of humanity, you will create your own artwork using vibrant colors and imaginative shapes.
