Erika Pluhar & Adi Hirschal - Together

Erika Pluhar and Adi Hirschal have grown close friends over the years, sharing both sad and joyful moments in their private lives. However, professionally, they have taken separate paths. Although, when viewed in parallel, these paths show remarkable similarities. Both have evolved from being solely actors to taking creative responsibility for their work, thus independently authorizing their own actions – both have increasingly embraced music and singing, integrating it into their professional lives – and both, albeit with different intensities, feel at home in writing.

Now – late, but not too late – the two have whimsically come up with the idea of daring to create a collaboration alongside their individual professional endeavors, connecting the elements of their respective creations. They have conceived and tested a joint performance format.

In this format, they read their own and selected texts – sing their own and selected songs – with Roland Guggenbichler on piano serving as a congenial third member of the group for the latter. The defining feature of this joint evening is the appeal of Viennese culture, which both artists possess in different yet connecting ways.

Two mature Viennese children sing, recite, joke, are serious, have fun, give each other dignity, and try to share their own togetherness with the audience.
