Carmen in a Different Way
After "Freischütz" in 2024 and "The Magic Flute" in 2025, this year one of the most famous and frequently performed operas, "Carmen" by Georges Bizet, will be featured in a shortened concert version by the Hausruck Philharmonic.
Between the well-known arias such as "On to the Fight," "Habanera," and many more, which will delight our soloists, Simon Thalbauer will humorously guide us through the plot. Your voice will also be needed—due to the absence of a choir...
We have also taken the liberty of rewriting the tragic ending of the opera to make it family-friendly.
