It is winter 1933 in Berlin, and posters of a man with a Charlie Chaplin mustache and a grim expression hang in the streets. Nine-year-old Anna and her brother Max are little concerned about this. Anna wants to become famous, like her father, the aggressive Jewish writer and theater critic; Max is causing trouble in the neighborhood with his gang. But when their father disappears overnight, Anna and Max must flee abroad with their mother, leaving everything they know and love behind – even Anna's pink stuffed rabbit. A journey begins with an uncertain outcome and great challenges – yet Anna's impractical, loving family will do everything they can to not be defeated.

Judith Kerr's life-affirming novel "When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit" is transformed into a captivating 1930s musical in the adaptation by Henry Mason and Thomas Zaufke ("The Rabbit with Amber Eyes," "The Queens"), distinguished by its melodies, humanity, and humor. The impressive cast is led by audience favorites Daniela Dett and Rob Pelzer.
