Upper Austrian Sinfonietta with the Ensemble UNIverse

The UAS Upper Austrian Sinfonietta, one of the youth orchestras of the Upper Austrian State Music School, has been dedicated to intensive orchestral work with young musicians from all over Upper Austria for more than 20 years. Under the direction of Peter Aigner, young people aged between 14 and 18 gain valuable artistic experiences and regularly participate in renowned concert series and festivals.

Together with the UAS, the inclusive ensemble UNIverse from the Anton Bruckner Private University shapes this concert evening. UNIverse was founded in the autumn of 2022 and sees itself as an open space for musical diversity, creativity, and collaborative creation. Under the artistic direction of Petra Linecker and Andreas Huber, independent arrangements, compositions, and texts from different musical worlds are developed. The distinctive ensemble sound, characterized by joy of playing, commitment, and mutual respect, has been awarded the inclusion prize "The Flying Fish" by the state of Upper Austria and has also been featured by ORF.

The joint music-making of UAS and UNIverse opens up new perspectives and connects different musical approaches to create a vibrant concert experience. A morning for all who wish to not only hear but also directly experience openness, diversity, and the unifying power of music.
