Rich ornaments, hidden symbols, and barely noticed details adorn many facades in Feldkirch – expressions of the wealth, significance, or artistic understanding of their residents. Wealthy families invested in relief work, colorful paintings, and decorative embellishments to showcase their status. Public buildings were also designed to be representative.
During the tour, we will search for aesthetically fascinating yet previously overlooked signs that bring the city's past to life.
