Communale OÖ 2026 - Courage to Change

The evening marks the beginning of a series of collaborations in which the Kepler Salon consciously leaves its traditional space in Linz's Rathausgasse and ventures into the regions of Upper Austria. The starting point is the historic house in Linz where Johannes Kepler lived in 1626 – the year of the Peasants' Wars. From here, a series of external salon formats will develop as part of the communale oö 2026, addressing the history, interpretation, and current relevance of the uprisings. The launch is connected to the exhibition at the Schlossmuseum Linz, the opening in Lembach, and opens up reflections on power, participation, and societal upheavals to this day.
