Feldkirch – the city of benefactors | City walk

The most significant works of art that we can admire today in Feldkirch are donations: the silver monstrance, the altars of St. Anne and Mary, books from the Humanist Library. Even at the entrance to Feldkirch, the Commandery stands as a donation to the Knights Hospitaller. Hospitals and nursing homes, schools and kindergartens, study places, or clothing for the poor were also donated.
During a tour of the city, we will take a look at the charitable engagement that is hardly recognized today, but was prominent in earlier times. We should not miss out on the donated treasures.
