Spring Haunting at Esterházy Castle

To kick off the 2026 season, Schloss Esterházy will open its doors on Sunday, April 12, 2026, for a special experience day. Visitors can look forward to a diverse program centered around art, history, and a family-friendly ghost theme. With guided tours in historical costumes, a new exhibition, and special offerings for children, spring will be warmly welcomed.

"Ghost Hunt" and "Ghostly Haunt" *)
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Little ghost figures are hidden throughout the castle. Families are invited to track them down during a playful discovery tour. All young visitors will also receive a ghost cloth, allowing them to haunt the castle themselves.

Costumed Castle Tour *)
10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 2:00 PM
During the popular guided tours in historical costumes, guests will dive into the world of the Esterházys and hear exciting stories about the castle.

Dance Passage Eisenstadt – The Echo Plays My Dress

Featuring paintings, sculptures, and textile works by Alphonse Ndagijimana (born 1994 in Rwanda).

Spring Haunting at Schloss Esterházy (Esterhazy Kids)
From 2:00 PM • Saal Maskaron
Family Musical "Rosalia's Revenge" *)
An interactive musical for the whole family.
Ticket price without day pass: 6.00 euros per person
After the musical, there will be an opportunity for a group photo to remember the occasion.

Ghosts in the Bel Étage (Esterhazy NOW) *)

Presentation of the artistic positions of the winners of the Esterhazy Art Award 2025.

Café Ghost Train Open for You
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM • Café Maskaron
Café Maskaron will be open on this day, offering themed drinks and snacks (for a fee).
