Together with the experienced biologist and nature guide Lukas Rinnhofer, the habitat of the moor will be explored in and around Mellau. Why are moors so important for flood protection? And why are they good for the climate? This hike is also suitable for families. Duration: approximately 3-4 hours Walking time: approximately 3 hours Meeting point: 9:00 AM at the valley station of the Mellau cable car Cost: €15 per person (children up to 14 years free), possible bus ride Info: good footwear/jacket and basic fitness required; please bring snacks/drinks Registration: please register by Thursday at 4:30 PM with Mellau Tourism T +43 (0)5518 2203.
