Every musical instrument takes pride in its best solo works. And rightly so. Tuba players, in particular, are aware of this, as they have very few of them. So, the most famous of all tubists, Andreas Martin Hofmeir, accompanied by pianist Barbara Schmelz, steals the best from the competition. An audacious concertante appropriation! And that's not all: with humorous poems from his "Dog's Common" instrumentology, he also linguistically gives them a run for their money. A special evening for the laughing muscles and the discerning ear.
