Ensemble Misenos

The Ensemble Misenos is named after the eponymous trumpeter from Greek mythology. The starting point of the ensemble's artistic work is the interplay between trumpet and soprano voice in Baroque works. In their refined concert program, the musicians place a special focus on composers who were active in the Habsburg Empire during the 17th century. Musicians such as Antonio Caldara, Antonio Cesti, Georg Muffat, H.I.F.
