After the overwhelming success of previous years, the music schools of Carinthia will once again transform into a vibrant sound space full of energy, talent, and musical diversity on June 17, 2026. Under the motto MOVE THE MUSIC, the audience can expect an exhilarating presentation concert that impressively showcases how virtuously and creatively Carinthia's musical youth shapes the stages of this country. More than 300 young musicians will take the stage together, presenting a colorful program full of highlights, exciting premieres, and stylistic variety: from exquisite chamber music to grand symphonic sounds, from folk music to brass music, and from jazz to gypsy swing and modern ensemble formations. SOUNDS OF CARINTHIA brings together everything that makes the music school landscape of Carinthia so special – artistic excellence, high educational competence, and an impressive diversity of musical expression.
