Finissage for the exhibition: >faces and more<

The interest in artistic creation was evident in Susanne Czerny's childhood and youth. During her career as a primary school teacher, she engaged in self-taught exploration of various techniques. In recent years, she has intensified her development by participating in workshops with various artists, such as Siegfried Santoni, Angelika Domenig, Anke Ryba, Marion Rauter, and Werner Bösch at the Kunstfabrik Wien. The creation of her paintings varies; sometimes they emerge from deep thoughts, sometimes by chance, or according to realistic guidelines. She employs different techniques in her work. On one hand, elements are only suggested, while on the other hand, certain parts are rendered realistically. This allows for individual interpretations, which are both possible and desired. To express different moods, she layers many colors on top of each other. The finished painting thus becomes an expression of an inner dialogue.

Susanne Czerny, born in Vienna, has lived with her husband in Schrick since 2011. Techniques: Acrylic, Aquarylic, Oil, Pouring Technique.

The exhibition will be on view from June 22, 2026, to the end of September 2026 at the Bildungsakademie Weinviertel in Gaweinstal, with free admission. Please inquire by phone before your visit to check if all the paintings are accessible, due to seminar operations.
