The Hainburg Haydn Society is celebrating its 45th anniversary with a festive concert that unites the past and present in a lively dialogue. Haydn's radiant D major symphony opens the evening with elegance and architectural clarity, while Beethoven's 7th Symphony concludes the festive concert as a symphonic song of jubilation.
In the "Sinfonia concertante," composed specifically for this occasion by Eduard Kutrowatz, the piano and clarinet engage in a virtuosic and colorful dialogue. Andrea Götsch, a member of the Vienna Philharmonic and also a composer, will not only perform as a soloist on the clarinet for this festive occasion but will also conduct the "Ehrphilharmonie Wien," which she leads.
