SPÄHIKEL Castle Inhabitants: Wide Wings & Long Ears

The Spähikel meets the most important residents of the castle - learn interesting facts about our furry flying acrobats and listen to their melodies.

Music is in the air! With the technical equipment of the nature observation vehicle Spähikel, we make these special sounds audible. Our guests will actively take on the role of researchers. Not only will the nighttime castle park be the scene of the event, but also, if the bat pups allow it, the attic of Schloss Eckartsau, where the bats feel particularly at home. Creepy factor included!

During the concluding walk through the bat hunting grounds in the Schlosspark Eckartsau, bats will be made visible and audible in the dark of night using the latest methods of wildlife research.

Weatherproof clothing and good footwear are recommended.

The tour is primarily for adults. Participation of minors in the program is only possible with an adult accompanying person.
