The "Man In Black" and his music
In the course of his work on the musical THE MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET (2021/22 at the Wiener Metropol), Werner Auer, who portrayed the charismatic country singer Johnny Cash in this production, discovered his love for Cash's music.
Now, he has created a full-length program from this love, in which he, together with the exceptional guitarist Bernhard Krinner, traces Johnny Cash's musical career from his early hits "Hey Porter" and "Folsom Prison Blues" to evergreen classics like "Walk The Line" and "Ring Of Fire," and on to his later works such as "Personal Jesus" and "Hurt" from the legendary "American Recordings."
